May 16, 2010

  1. How does the installation capture your attention?
  2. What was the audience’s reaction to it?
  3. Take pictures of these reactions. Post it on tumblr/wordpress.

    • Invitation to Dream – A Fire Garden Installation was pretty spectacular. How fire in the night manages to keep the streets of Esplande Park stretching its way to Empress Place with a glow of warmth in the relentless rainy weather that occured Sunday night. When the elements of fire clashes with water, how it ignites and roars furiously in protest is an amazing sight. An enchanting glow, carving out intimate spaces of warmth.
    • The audience were either gobsmacked, appalled or amazed by the wondrous embellishments of towering sculptures of metal, clay pots, fire curtains, blazing garlands and intricate patterns of flame. Some expressions were quite difficult to decipher as they’re constantly behind the cameras. But possibly ’cause they wanted to capture that moment and never forget its galore & beauty that thrived in the rain.

    • People awed by the lined up fire in claypots.
